Not many “hometown” agencies get involved in aircraft insurance. In fact, most aircraft and airport-related insurance is purchased through larger, national insurance brokerages. At Terry Riney Agency, pilots, aircraft owners, flying club members and airport operators all find the rare combination of big-time aircraft insurance experience with small town customer service.
What’s our experience? Terry Riney is a Commercial/Multi-Engine/Instrument-Rated Pilot with over 3,400 hours flying time. He has owned 10 airplanes over the course of his flying career and currently has a 1981 Cessna Turbo 210. He shares the flying time of this airplane with his son, Blaine, who is a Private/Instrument-Rated Pilot.
Terry placed his first aircraft insurance policy with Omni Aviation Underwriters in 1976 and has been actively selling aircraft insurance since. He is a Certified Aviation Insurance Professional, one of few in the world. During his lengthy career, he has built life-long relationships and friendships with underwriters and insurance company managers in the close-knit world of the aircraft insurance business, which means he has earned access to and the trust of the decision makers on the insurance company side. This makes him a great person to have in your corner when things like pricing, pilot clauses and training requirements need to be negotiated. Terry is also supported by a tremendous agency staff, helping him manage policy renewals and field calls from our clients involved in the world of flying.
We don’t specialize. From Piper Cubs to jet fleets and flying clubs, we can help.
